EHS occasionally comes across chemicals in unopened containers and chemicals in opened containers that are still in good condition. In the interest of saving the University of Kansas re-purchasing and disposal costs, we maintain a "Surplus Chemical" storeroom from which the items are free and will be delivered to laboratories on the University of Kansas - Lawrence Campus.

Also, if you use a great quantity of certain chemicals and you are not concerned with having the purest-of-pure quality, EHS will actively look for these certain chemicals from the containers that we collect.
Please fill out the request form below if you see chemicals that your laboratory needs or if you want EHS to look for certain chemicals and notify you as we come across them.
