APPENDIX B - EPA Hazardous Waste Characteristics
Any hazardous materials waste exhibiting any of these characteristics meets
the definition of an EPA characteristic hazardous waste and must be picked
up by EHS for proper disposal.
APPENDIX C - EPA Hazardous Waste Lists
Any hazardous materials waste which contains one of these compounds or
matches up to one of these listings meets the definition of an EPA listed
hazardous waste and must be picked up by EHS for proper disposal.
APPENDIX D - Other Hazardous Chemicals Lists
These are specific lists of chemical compounds and reagents that exhibit
significant health, safety and/or environmental hazards which require them
to be carefully collected by the user. These materials must be picked up
by EHS for proper disposal.
KU-EHS Radiation Safety Services form used to document radioactive source
activity and waste generation by the authorized laboratory. This form is
also used to manifest the pickup, removal and transportation of radiation
waste by RSS. All radioactive waste must be picked up and disposed by RSS.
